Libraries, Archives & Writing

My work in librarianship is shaped by a belief that libraries are places where information, creativity, and community come together. As an MLIS student at Pratt Institute, I’m developing a foundation in information organization, research, archives, and public service while exploring the many ways libraries can help people discover and engage with information.

 

My background in sound design and film has also shaped the way I approach library and archival work. I’m particularly interested in audiovisual collections, digital preservation, metadata, accessibility, and the systems that make information discoverable and usable.

Writing is another important part of my work. Whether through academic research, critical writing, or fiction, I’m interested in storytelling, culture, and the ways people preserve and interpret their experiences. The work collected here reflects my developing interests as an information professional, researcher, and writer.

MLIS Candidacy

I am pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science at Pratt Institute, with a particular interest in librarianship, archives, digital collections, metadata, and information organization. My studies build on my background in audiovisual media and sound design, allowing me to explore the ways digital materials are organized, preserved, documented, and made accessible.

Debut Novel (Ongoing)

For more than three years, I have been developing my debut novel—a project shaped by sustained writing, revision, research, and reflection. My work as a writer complements my interest in librarianship and archives, particularly in the ways stories are created, documented, preserved, and made accessible to others. The manuscript is currently with beta readers as I prepare for its next stage and begin looking toward publication. Short Story Work
